The Opportunity
When Magnolia Regional Health Center (MRHC) updated their EHR, they took the opportunity to add more efficiencies to their accounts payable workflow with the help of MEDITECH Expanse and ECHO for Business.
At first, MRHC used a Virtual Card solution through their payment platform provider, which offered cash back, rebates, and discounts for using their payment processor. While this solution created an additional revenue stream, the process of importing and exporting payments to the platform, alongside standard reconciliation, was manual and time-consuming.

MRHC went live with ECHO for Accounts Payable to facilitate effortless payment initiation and reconciliation within MEDITECH Expanse. Accounts Payable acts as the single integration point to any healthcare payment platform, giving MRHC the capability to choose, use, or swap their payment platform provider, along with the continued ability to flex the solution to their ever-changing payment needs.
